This course explores the range of functional health assessments involved in work health assessments, alongside occupational exposure history taking. Delegates will explore the complex role of occupational health to screen, act and advise on behalf of employers. Although the primary role of employment health assessment is to screen staff to assess whether they are capable and fit to undertake a particular role and to help prevent work-related illnesses, injuries and the spread of disease or infection, equal importance is given to baseline health monitoring and surveillance and our role in health protection and education.
